Toronto, ON – Thin Edge New Music Collective is excited to announce the second concert of our 2013/2014 season. Unusual Spectrum III will take place on November 21, at the Array Space in Toronto and will showcase special guest artist bass clarinetist Kathryn Ladano performing a solo set comprised of her own compositions and improvisations, including the world premiere of Avoiding the Answers (2013) for bass clarinet.
Join us for an evening of eclectic auditory/visual experiences featuring works by Canadian composers Gary Kulesha, Colin Labadie, Kathryn Ladano and American master George Crumb. Unusual Spectrum III includes a myriad of contemporary idioms ranging from solo and chamber music to electronics, improvisation and even elements of the theatrical. Guaranteed to thoroughly satiate the listeners' palate!
