HARBOURKIDS: CIRCUS
FEATURING THE TORONTO INTERNATIONAL CIRCUS FESTIVAL
FREE: May 21-23, 2011 (Victoria Day long weekend)
Step right up to experience HarbourKIDS: CIRCUS! Harbourfront Centre in collaboration with Zero Gravity Circus presents an extraordinary three-day circus featuring artists from around the world! This event is programmed as part of Harbourfront Centre’s Cool Kids family programming.
• 46 Circus Acts in 45 Minutes
• Daily at 4 p.m. (WestJet Stage)
Watch as up to five multi-skilled Australian acrobats from CIRCA battle the clock in an incredible, high-energy performance! Marvel at the astounding ways they bend, fly, juggle and balance!
• The Natrel™ Clown Club
• Daily from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. (Brigantine Room and Brigantine Tent)
Kids will see themselves transform into bona fide clowns through learning jokes, tricks and physical comedy from professional clowns. The session ends with graduation ceremony where kids will receive a clown diploma and the requisite red nose!
• Tumble & Swing Acrobatic Workshops
• Daily from 11 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (Enwave Theatre)
Kids ages five to 14 can try out aerial and acrobatic equipment with circus professionals right inside the Enwave Theatre where they will learn to juggle, tumble, twirl in silks and much more.
